I find travelling abroad stressful, especially with kids. It feels like you need to bring half the house with you for all eventualities. Travelling light just doesn't happen anymore.
One thing I think about a lot is what to wear. It's likely to be different temperatures at different points and that means I need to think carefully about what we wear.
Last time I went away I wore a jumpsuit!!! Yes, I now realise what an error this was. Especially whilst trying to keep my clothes off the floor of the stamp-sized airplane toilet.
This time my order from Marks and Spencer arrived hours before I was due to go, and the timing couldn't have been more perfect.

Sometimes the plane can be quite chilly with the aircon on full blast, so it was really handy to have the jacket that went with these trousers. It also meant that on holiday I had a light-weight jacket to wear if it the temperature dropped in the evenings, I could easily put it over my dress.

This yellow jumper isn't available anymore (sorry), but I think it's good to show you other ways mix and match the suit components.

These high cut ballerina pumps are great for travelling.

What do you like to wear when travelling abroad?
