Our new Eve mattress

I’d been unhappy with my mattress for a long time. We spent a lot of time looking for the right one, and paid a lot of money for it, because a good night's sleep is important to us. We wanted something supportive but not too firm - and not too soft, like our previous mattress. I thought we’d found the perfect mattress then, after a few months, the mattress started to sink where we slept. I was so disappointed, and it was out of warranty, so there was no chance of us taking it back. For the last couple of years we’ve just put up with it - I’m sure it’s contributed to my husband’s back issues.

You can imagine my delight when eve Sleep got in touch and asked me if I’d like to test one of their mattresses to see what I thought. It was the perfect opportunity to try out a new mattress without obligation - if I didn’t like it, we could just go back to our old one.

Luckily, we love it. We've been sleeping on our new eve mattress for a few weeks now and I relish getting into bed. It's soft, yet supportive, cool but cosy - I have no idea how they do it. It feels like you're getting a massive cuddly hug as you nod off. I just adore it. We should have got one sooner, especially as they’re such good value. And I just love that pop of yellow - my favourite colour.

Parents of the world will know a good night's sleep is like liquid gold… which is why I’m a very happy mum right now.

My bed is big (it’s a Super King) and you can see in this short video how I managed to set it up all by myself - not a man in sight. It also shows my girls loving the new mattress just as much as I do!!
